The performance of acoustic office screens is very difficult to quantify as the environment in which they are used can have an influence of the effectiveness of sound absorbing screens. Brick walls, hard floors, high ceilings, suspended ceilings with a void above and the general shape of the room can all have an effect on the way noise will travel around a room. Glendale Products manufacture using a range of additional surface treatments to enhance the sound absorbing properties of our office panels.
Working with our clients in many different office environments over the years has enabled us to develop acoustic office screens that not only look aesthetically pleasing but also fulfil their sound absorbing screen criteria. Evidence of this can be seen in the following testimonial:
"We recently extended and remodelled the Snap Surveys Sales and Marketing office to create a larger open plan workspace for the 8 staff based in our Thornbury head office.
Because the workspace had been opened up, the noise levels generated by the busy sales team could sometimes become intrusive. We decided to bring Glendale Products in to advise us on how to cut the noise levels, but still maintain team interaction and the open plan feel.
Glendale suggested a mix of straight and curved absorbing foam acoustic screens around each desk. Staff were able to choose screens in a range of fabric colours. We now have a bright , fun, but much less noisy working environment!
Glendale delivered to tight timescales and offered us a great value service."
