Glendale Products Acoustic wall panels have a lightweight metal frame construction housing 50mm thick sound absorbing acoustic foam, designed to reduce reverberant noise in offices, corridors, school halls etc.
Acoustic Wall Boards are most effective in reducing noise in areas that are particularly prone to echoing. Reverberant noise is typically a problem in corridors, sports halls gymnasiums and school halls. The solid floors and walls with high ceilings and limited furnishings allow for a high movement of sound. Acoustic wall panels are manufactured as a combination of a metal frame upholstered in an acoustically translucent fabric covering a sound absorbent filling Acoustic Wallboards provide an excellent solution for absorbing free sound and reducing the echoing effect.
Whilst effective in reducing noise levels in stark environments Acoustic Wallboards are also proven to improve the working environment in noisy areas such as offices, classrooms and call centers. Here, despite the presence of furnishings, the concentrated volume of noise requires further acoustic treatments to reduce reverberant noise levels. In these instances office panels increase the sound absorption, reducing noise levels and sound bounce.
Acoustic Wall Panels are available in a range of standard sizes from 600mm x 900mm to 1400mm x 2000mm with a decorative finish and supplied complete with a fixing kit. The entry-level acoustic wallboard is covered in a choice of coloured fabrics complying with BS476 Part 7 Class 1.
Acoustic wall panels can also be covered in printed material rather than a simple plain colour allowing you to decorate your walls in addition to removing unwanted noise. The Artwork for acoustic panels can be chosen from a large bank of existing artwork or bespoke finishes can be produced using customer's own photographs or graphics such as company logos. Acoustic Artwork Wallboards are provided with a removable washable cover. High-level acoustic absorption and increased fire rating versions can be achieved at an extra cost.
